CONCEPTOS TÉCNICOS PARA COMPRENDER LOS SISTEMAS DE GESTIÓN DE BATERÍAS BMS

Resumen


Con el avance de las tecnologías en los sistemas de energía renovable, vehículos eléctricos e híbridos, y otros dispositivos portátiles, se ha incrementado considerablemente la necesidad de optimizar el funcionamiento de las baterías. En la actualidad, una buena opción para lograrlo, son los Sistemas de Gestión de Baterías (BMS).

Una aplicación Battery Management System (BMS) determina la calidad y duración de las baterías. En realidad, existen varios parámetros a considerar cuando se analizan los sistemas de almacenamiento de energía, como se mencionan aquí. Este artículo presenta una revisión de los tipos/modelos de baterías recargables, los conceptos básicos de su comportamiento y algunos aspectos comerciales relacionados con proyecciones de uso y fabricantes emergentes.
