Abstract
The strategy of densifying to occupy less land of high ecological value and biodiversity implies a development of housing at height, commonly determining definitive conditions in the size of the same; If we add to the above the scarcity of resources and the high deficit of social housing solutions, the results are very small definitive housing units to sustain the evolution and growth of a family with its basic needs and aspirations. This phenomenon is evident with the non-conformity of the user families with respect to the assigned housing unit and it is clearly a situation that does not contribute to the sustainability aspects with which the social housing is to be developed. For this reason, the basic unit of social housing in height that is economically viable in our country must be able to grow in area, evolve and allow the functional permutation of its spaces, which improves the conditions of capacity, comfort and functionality in a dynamic of appropriation that is diverse. The need generated by the architectural dynamism requires a structure that can also be adapted to these evolutionary changes, therefore a structure was developed consisting of a basic module to which cantilevered structural modules can be joined with articulated joints.
