Revista Colombiana de Investigaciones Agroindustriales is a peer-reviewed open access journal, totally free for authors and readers. RCIA provides biannual publication, continuous and rapid periodicity (60 days for publication); of articles in all areas of Agri-Food Sciences, Secondary Metabolites, Agricultural Biotechnology, Beekeeping Agroindustry and Technological Development and Business Innovation; additionally includes applications of other related sciences that can enrich the discipline such as: Biotechnology, Bioprocesses, Nutrition and Safety, Applied Informatics, Applied Economics and Applied Mathematics.
RCIA is an electronic journal in Open Journal Systems (OJS); internationally refereed, indexed in Clarivate, Web of Sciencies, REDIB, LATINDEX, Google Scholar, Proquest and EBSCOhost databases. Its objective is the circulation of specialized knowledge through the publication of scientific and technological research. RCIA Journals has become a platform for collaboration between communities and society, linking research and the development of new knowledge. All articles are subject to initial Editor screening and then a rigorous double-blind peer-review process before publication.
RCIA's editorial team is made up of a group of experts, who set the direction of the journal's editorial policy.
After the respective editorial review, all articles go through a review procedure by at least two peer experts in the field; adopting the double-blind evaluation system to judge the quality of the work.
The reviewers consider the relevance, soundness, importance, originality, coherence and readability. To make the decision to accept for publication, accept with changes or reject.
Revista Colombiana de Investigaciones Agroindustriales, governs its Editorial management according to the guidelines on good practices for publications, issued by the Committee on Publication Ethic (COPE https://publicationethics.org/ ).
