The present article develops a reflection on the changes facing the world and its dynamics. Recent phenomena such as the separation of Britain, the European crisis, the triumph of Donald Trump, among others, show that structural changes in global geo-politics are emerging, which clearly represents a challenge in economic planning and Especially for regions seeking to find international markets for products with added value, as an alternative to overcome situations of backwardness and poverty. In general, attention is drawn to the challenges for the regions that, through processes of prospective territorial planning, point to endemic products with differential values in the international market.Downloads
