Abstract
Summary: Within the guidelines established in
the Institutional Operative Plan of the Service
National de Learning (Sena) for 2015, the aim
is to generate an “adequate articulation between
the strategy and operation that will allow Sena
to position itself as the best training Center for
work of the Latin America, guided by the criteria
of relevance and quality in training, seeking the
social and technical development of Colombian
workers and the increase of regional productivity,
offering and executing comprehensive professional
training for apprentices, for their incorporation
into productive activities “ (Sena POA, 2015)
Taking into account the above approaches, we
want to describe the aspects related to the employability
of graduates from Sena- Agroentrepreneurial
and Turistic Center of the Andes with
a view to identifying the relevance, employability
and effectiveness of the training proposed by
Sena specifically by the training center
This description will make it possible to identify
aspects such as the employability and employability
of the graduates of the different training
programs assigned to the knowledge networks
proposed by the Sena as a proposal for coverage
with quality and relevance. For this purpose,
a descriptive research process was carried out
where, from a statistical analysis, the characteristics
of employability and employability of the
Sena CATA graduates during the period 2010 to
2014 can be identified. With this information, they
can identify central aspects that can influence the
improvement in the relevance and quality of training
programs.
