Abstract

The hydrographic river offer severals useful to the communities located around it’s, these Rivera are the base for the development of thone mentioned communities, because it’s natural resources are used in the farming, feeding and daily tasks. The Damas river is an affluent very important for the Garzón municipality, cause this one in it’s trajectory benefit different communities. This research allowed to identify some characteristics resources about; water, land, air and flora visibles in this area, in the dame way to stablish the uses and mechanics in which communities make exploitation, taking into account the previous information, at the end, it suggested some necessary measures for it’s prevention and conservation.
