Abstract

Thanks to the closeness between humans and technology today, it is possible to create robots that perform a wide variety of functions, making people’s lives easier. In this way, we think of a pet robot that provides domestic assistance along with the company emulating a real pet, something that according to studies has benefited people who may suffer from loneliness. This article presents the process taken to define the appearance of a robot pet along with its functions, for which the 3D design of its physical structure was carried out, along with the electronic-mechanical and programming design for its correct functioning. The methodology for its creation and finally the 3D printing of its parts for subsequent assembly is presented.
