TECHNOLOGICAL TRANSFER FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF RED TILAPIA CULTIVATION SYSTEMS IN THE MUNICIPALITY FONSECA - COLOMBIA

Abstract

This research is based on an analysis of how to transfer technology to implement a system of cultivation of red tilapia, and that its production is sustainable without causing ecological damage. It was based on the theoretical foundations of Gaynor (1999), Escorza (2001), Zorrilla (1997). It was a field investigation. Concluding that the livestock sector in the Municipality of Fonseca does not have the technical, human, financial and technological resources necessary for its development in fish farming, requiring strategies for its implementation articulated to a training dynamic for production that strengthens it.
