Abstract
The objective of the article was to conceptually address different training strategies by competencies that enable citizenship to be activated, know and make the solidarity economy visible and undertake and innovate in solidarity with impacts, both within the Cooperative University of Colombia, and in the external community , based on university social responsibility. Methodologically, the qualitative action research approach was applied with rigorous treatment to the documentary review, aligned to the theories of references with results obtained from the application of the instruments to the directors, deans and students of the different venues and training programs of the University. As a result, Competency-Based Training Strategies were established in face-to-face moments of the solidarity economy courses. It is concluded that the Institution has committed to the community through the generation of well-being for all social classes of the cooperative sector
