Abstract

The purpose of this study was to establish the relationship between digital competencies and university teacher performance. The methodology was based on a quantitative correlational approach, with a non-experimental and cross-sectional design. The sample consisted of 76 university students, to whom a digital questionnaire containing information on the variables was applied. The reliability was obtained by means of Cronbach’s Alpha and was 0.975; SPSS 27 was used for data processing. The results showed that the significance value was 0.228, determining that there was a correlation between the digital competence variable and the
teacher’s performance; the coefficient was .356**, which means that the degree of correlation is lowpositive significant. It is concluded that because the variables have the same value, they influence each other.
