HOW TO AVOID CYBER ATTACKS IN COLOMBIAN MIPYMES??

Abstract

In this document review article, a little-known issue is addressed but unfortunately quite common, even more so in the contingency due to the Covid 19, and it is related to cyber attacks, which are presented mostly in micro, small and medium-sized companies, since attackers take advantage of the few security systems that these entities manage and their few preventive measures. Hence, this article addresses the importance of implementing security systems in Colombian MSMEs, starting from two fundamental themes, the first of them, the characterization of the main cyberattacks that occur in this segment of companies, and the second, the preventive measures that are necessary to adopt to avoid these cyberattacks in a timely manner.
