Resumo
La industria de la indumentaria deportiva está experimentando un auge gracias a la creciente conciencia sobre la salud y el bienestar, lo que ha impulsado la demanda de prendas especializadas. Este crecimiento continuo y la inversión en investigación y desarrollo de materiales prometen seguir transformando la forma en que se evalúa el rendimiento deportivo en el futuro y el uso de tecnologías emergentes en el sistema moda. Dentro de las propiedades deseables en la indumentaria deportiva se incluyen la transpirabilidad, elasticidad, resistencia al agua, ligereza, durabilidad, protección UV, compresión y propiedades antibacterianas; Cada una de estas propiedades desempeña un papel crucial en el rendimiento y la comodidad del deportista durante la actividad física. La incorporación de nanotecnología en los tejidos ha despertado un gran interés debido a sus características únicas y beneficios potenciales en comparación con revestimientos tradicionales. En esta investigación, se
dan a conocer los avances más recientes en la aplicación de nanorrevestimientos en textiles para indumentaria deportiva a partir de nanopartículas de sílice y de titanio para conferir hidrofobicidad y protección UV.
