Abstract

The following research it was found the richness and the abundance of birds in three traditional livestock production systems -TR-, Silvopastoril -AF- -SP- and Agroforestry in municipalities
Municipalities of Florence, Morelia and Belén de los Andaquies in Caqueta - Colombia. The method used was mist nets in each farm, activating them in the morning from 06:00 to 12:00 hs. As a result 750 individual birds belonging to 11 orders, 23 families and 81 species were captured. It was found greater abundance in the order Passeriformes with 557 individuals with a richness of 13 families. The most abundant species in the study area were silver-beaked tanager, this bird in the three production systems are blue-gray tanager, smooth-billed ani generalist species. The main objective is to observe and analyze how land uses affect the richness and abundance of bird species.
