Abstract
The purpose of this research was to analyze the strategies of innovative entrepreneurship for the benefit of
professional training in apprentices, theoretically supported by the contributions of O’Connor (2018), De
Pablo & Uribe (2017), López (2009), Oslo Manual (2006), Frascati Manual (2002), Praveen (2015), among
others. The type of research was defined as descriptive with a quantitative positivist approach, the design was
typified as field, non-experimental, descriptive and transectional. A measuring instrument, was designed as
a survey, developed on the basis of a fixed list of multiple-choice questions using Likert scale. The validity
of the instrument was determined through the expert judgment technique. In this sense, the information
was organized, tabulated and subject to treatment by statistical techniques. The population was made up
of apprentices of the technical and technological training programs of the Industrial and Alternative Energy
Center of the National Learning Service - SENA, Guajira Regional. As a result, it can be concluded that both
SENA and the educational institutions have the challenge of promoting the generation of innovations
through research and technological development, providing the academic community with the necessary
skills in entrepreneurship and innovation to generate business ideas capable of encouraging the creation of
new companies.
