Abstract
In this research we were able to reflect on the character and personality of the organizations, based on the study of two emblematic institutions of the department of La Guajira, Gases de la Guajira and the National Learning Service -SENA Regional Guajira-. According to the perspective of the authors and the bibliographic review, the importance of an adequate monitoring of the character and personality of the organization is deepened, focused from the behavior of the members and the social dynamics. This document contains evidence of the relationship between the construction of character and organizational personality, and the findings resulting from the balance between stable governance and clear institutional objectives are shared.
