Abstract
Using other means to support training is very important when innovating in today’s education. Using Augmented Reality (AR) puts us in a position to investigate the effects of its use in educational institutions. It is important to say that using these technologies helps learners when developing new skills and knowledge. In addition to being something new, it captures
their attention first-hand, and motivates them. In this way we increased their academic performance and changed the perceptions they had after the use of these technologies. The research is quasi-experimental and led to the use of tools that collected data in a quantitative and qualitative way. For the development of this project, we elaborated AR contents in training, and these were tested and revealed a significant improvement in the learning process and the acquisition of knowledge. You can see an improvement in their learning outcomes and their evaluations. The reception by the students and the facilitator of
this technology is positive and they find it encouraging, motivating as well as the fact that it is very easy to use and create.
