Abstract

The purpose of this study was to know the effect of different interactive activities conducted through weekly synchronous tutoring in developing elementary communicative skills in SENA e-learners from the second level of the program English Dot Works. A blended approach based on communication and information technologies was always recognized.  The study was conducted under a qualitative research developing a quasi-experimental descriptive approach with an initial diagnostic which gave account of e-learners low level in EFL production due to the lack of interacting strategies in the online course being an obstacle to achieve the expected goals of the level. That is why an action stage was conducted based on additional tutoring in which the proposal was implemented and evaluated to draw conclusions about the development and production of language in online learning environments. The main goal of the intervention was to help apprentices to have a better understanding of the notions and topics studying in the course through the implementation of activities which promote tutor-learner and learner-learner interaction.
