Abstract
The growing demand for milk and dairy products required the use of various types of chemicals, including anthelmintics and antibiotics. Although essential in bulk milk production, they can pose serious health problems not only to animals but also to consumers. To identify and quantify contaminants generated by the residues of these veterinary drugs (for example, anthelmintics) in milk and its related products, it is necessary to establish reliable instrumental techniques. This research was organized to monitor the analytical techniques currently available for the identification and quantification of these types of contaminants in milk. To this end, the present work emphasizes the study of the withdrawal period of fenbendazole in milk by electrochemical methods. This study can provide valuable information on essential protocols for the quantificationof one of the components with the widest spectrum of use within the family of benzimidazoles related
to dairy products, while helping to make the fast and firm decisions necessary for legislation. , regulations
and health care.
