Este artículo revisa y expone las características técnicas, limitaciones y potencialidad de los sistemas de recuperación y disipación de energía térmica en las aguas residuales como tecnología para brindar confort climático. Presenta también un análisis de la viabilidad técnica y financiera basándose en criterios extraídos de diversos casos de estudio realizados a nivel mundial traídos al contexto local colombiano.
