Abstract

This review examined the cash flows, both in its structure, operation, investment and financing, and its relationship with regional economic growth during the same period.
Constitute the relationship between the cash flows of the companies in the agricultural sector of the Department of Risaralda who reported their financial statements to the Superintendence of com­panies during the period 2002-2011 and regional economic growth during the same period.
Research is of a nature documentary and descrip­tive-correlacional, since the process identifies the cash flows from operation, financing and invest­ment, which are correlated with different macroeco­nomic variables that may affect them, as the PIB of Risaralda, unemployment, rate of placement, DTF, TRM and the financial variable IGBC, identifying year-by-year increases or decreases which appear and its relationship to the behavior of the economy, for the same periods.
