Abstract

In Colombia it is registered   every year more than  100.000 work accidents. Many of them because of the misuse of personal protective equipment that is required for each activity. being the construction  one with more risks. The hard hat is fundamental to avoid accidents because it protects the head and it is there where the brain is located which it is the motor of the body function, These equipment need to have the protection standars like: NTC1523 and ANSI Z89.1-2014 also thet need to generate safety conditions as: limit the pression applied to the skull when distributing the charge on the most possible surface; turn aside the objects that fall off in the correct way trhough the design; dispel the energy that is transmitted in a way that does not reach the head or the neck. That is why it is necessary to improve their effectiveness and reliability continually as well their uses in order to get behavior patterns to save the integrity of the worker and avoid the occupational hazards. With this project it seeks to motivate the implementation of improvements of the safety   hard hats oriented to the interaction between the environment and the user, minimizing the accidents in the work places whose objective is to improve the safety of the worker and facilitate to the responsibles of prevention in the companies and institutions the assistance and control, through an electronic device put in the hard hat worn by the construction workers to minimize the  work accidents by impacts or hit on the head.
