Abstract
The present article pretends to describe the integral professional formation from its two fundamental axes: the formation of the human person and the formation of competences for the occupational performance. It assumes a deductive structure which starts from the historical and philosophical foundations of integral education and liberal education, to move through the characterization that OIT / CINTERFOR makes of integral professional training in Latin America and the Caribbean, and culminate with a synthesis of the integral professional training in the vital and professional experiences of the group of the SENA instructors participating in this edition.References
