Abstract
The apprenticeship contract has become one of the sources of livelihood for most SENA apprentices, sometimes representing their only source of income. Since the month of March 2020, the suspension of apprenticeship contracts began to be evident due to the health emergency caused by covid -19. This article aims to analyze the level of consequence during the suspension of contracts for SENA apprentices, by the sponsoring companies due to the current pandemic of covid-19, using mixed-type research with a triangular approach where the review of Literature and the application of surveys to a representative sample of apprentices from SENA -CGA. With a descriptive scope that allows addressing a social problem, showing alternatives for the part of the apprentices to be able to subsist while the apprenticeship contract is canceled or suspended.
