- The number of authors included in a reference has changed; up to 20 authors must be included before names are omitted.

- The "DOI:" tag is no longer used, and the words "Retrieved from" are used only when there is a required retrieval date.

Analyzing the financial crisis of 2008, Lynch (2012) states that "the crisis has been motivated by what is most perverse in the capitalist world" (p. 127), contributing to a general climate of negativity with the right-wing parties.

It has been stated in the financial crisis of 2008 that "the crisis has been motivated by what is most perverse in the capitalist world" (Lynch, 2012, p. 127), which has contributed to a malaise with the right-wing parties for the world.

If the citation appears at the end of a sentence, close the quoted passage with quotation marks, cite the source in parentheses immediately after the quotation marks, and end with a period outside the final parentheses.

It has been stated in the bankruptcy of Wall Street in 2008 that "the crisis has been motivated by what is most perverse in the capitalist world" (Lynch, 2012, p. 127).

If the citation comprises 40 words or more

Other economists have presented other arguments:

The presence of loans suppressed in the economy was a real attempt by banks to help people without condition to acquire their own home.

The problem with the subprime crisis has been just the overconfidence of financial institutions in receiving payment in the short term. (Gatewell, 2011, p. 503).

-------------------------------------------------- -----------------------------------------

In 2011, Gatewell made another argument: The presence of subprime loans in the economy was a real attempt by banks to help unqualified people buy their own homes.

The problem with the subprime crisis has been just the overconfidence of financial institutions in receiving payment in the short term. (p.503)

Secondary quotes or date quotes

We try to always use a primary source when citing. A primary source is where the original content is located. A secondary source refers to the original content reported in another source. If possible find the primary source, read it and quote it directly instead of citing a secondary source. Use secondary citations when the original work is out of print, unavailable, or only available in a foreign language.

Follow these instructions when citing a secondary source:

- In the reference list, provide an entry for the secondary source you used.

- In the text, identify the primary source and write “as cited in” and note the secondary source.

If the year of publication of the primary source is known, include it in the text citation as well.

Only Sánchez's work should appear in the reference list.

citation in parentheses

(Ayala, 1983, as cited in Sánchez, 2009)

Narrative quote

Ayala (1983, as cited in Sánchez, 2009) states that not all the stars that shine today will shine tomorrow.

-------------------------------------------------- ------------------------------------

All in-text citations with three or more authors are shortened to the first author's name plus "et al." Table 1. Citations in the text with "et al."

-------------------------------------------------- ----------------------------------------

If an Author has participated as the author of more than one book with different authors in the same year, as shown in the following example:

Rodriguez, Suarez, Masiero, Tabarez, and Couto, 2010

Rodríguez, Suárez, Soto, Calandria, and Figueredo, 2010

The solution in this case is always to write the names of the authors as far as it is possible to distinguish the list of authors to which you refer. In this case, the following:

Rodriguez, Suarez, Masiero et al., 2010

Rodriguez, Suarez, Soto et al., 2010

Use the following format to reference the bibliography:

A reference must contain author and/or publisher information, publication date information, work title information, and publication data information.

You must use the format Last Name followed by First Name Initials (for example, Last Name, AA, Last Name, BB, and Last Name, CC). When there are eight or more authors, you must include the first six authors' names, then insert three ellipses and add the last author's name. These instructions are valid for the list of references. You should consult the specific rules for APA citations according to the number of authors.

Content layout: once the articles have been reviewed, the editor must decide what content will be published in the issue. Having the articles approved, another stage comes in which the contents are passed through a form correction; This stage can also contemplate the translation of the title, keywords and summaries, and the final art of the number, especially in the case of printed magazines. In the case of online magazines, the graphic aspect must also be taken care of, since the contents must be in accordance with the graphic line of the magazine's website and previous issues. Finally, the contents must be prepared for the different indexes or databases where the journal is included.

Structuring of Tables, Figures, Texts and Numbers: to facilitate the standardization of norms and be uniform in certain editorial processes, in addition to facilitating the design and layout phases, it is established that all scientific journals of the university must adhere to the following internal norms in regarding tables, figures, graphs, texts and numbers, as follows:

Boards

- They must be prepared in an MS Word or MS Excel table processor with the same font and one point less than that of the text. Do not use the space bar or the tab key.

- Tables must be numbered and cited according to their sequence in the text, in consecutive order with Arabic numerals, and will have a brief descriptive caption at the top, which will be the table's reference. It is recommended that the legend be clear and informative, so as to avoid consulting the text to understand the table.

- Each table must be inserted in the body of the manuscript and its content will be concise and summarized.

- The information presented in the tables should not appear repeated in the figures.

- Column headings should be brief, but explanatory. Use bold only in the headings (horizontal and vertical). Standard abbreviations for units of measure should be placed in parentheses.

- Vertical and horizontal lines should be used to separate columns and rows. The cells will not have colors.

- Any additional explanation for the understanding of the table must be provided as a footnote to the table.

- Use the same typeface (Times New Roman 11) in all illustrations and follow the style of the magazine.

List of figure legends

- Like tables, figures must be inserted in the body of the manuscript sequentially.

- Bold should not be used and both lowercase and capital letters will be accentuated.

- It is recommended that legends be informative so that the reader does not need to refer to the text to understand what the figure shows.

- It is recommended that the explanations or descriptions that are considered necessary be written in the same legend to avoid text within the figures.

- Attachments are not used.

Figures

- The name of the file corresponding to the figure will be that of the first author followed by the number of the figure, example: López fig.1.jpg and must be sent in separate files, in high-quality graphic digital format (tiff, bmp, jpg or gif)

- Each one of the figures must be editable, if possible, it is recommended to send vector graphic files or, failing that, send the original editable file in MS Excel, with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.

- The figures will be numbered with Arabic numerals according to their sequence of appearance in the text. • The figures must be designed taking into account the format of the magazine page. Its original size should allow for a 50% reduction, without loss of clarity.

- Figures composed of several images will be numbered consecutively. Ex: Figure 1a, 1b, 1c, etc. Drawings should be to comparative scale to determine magnification.

- The figures must be presented in a single plane (Do not use 3D effects), without horizontal lines and with a box on the outside.

- Use the same typeface (Times New Roman 11) in all illustrations and follow the style of the magazine.

Abbreviations: they are written the first time they appear in parentheses, complete and in their original language. The use of acronyms that are not universally recognized will be limited.

Scientific nomenclature: the scientific names of genera and species should be written in italics. When they are mentioned the first time, they are placed in full, even in the title and abstract, and then only the initial letter of the genus is used in capital letters, followed by the full name of the species in italics.

Regarding the decimal figures, a comma (,) should be used in the case of contributions written in Spanish and a point (.) in those written in English. In the case of units of one thousand, a space must be used and not a point or comma. When numbers ranging from 0 to 9 are mentioned, they must be written in letters, except for those that indicate decimals, percentages or metric units.

Units

Measurements must be expressed in units of the metric system; a space is left between the number and the unit of measure and there should be no period after the abbreviation (20 m, 15 %, 36 °C, 5 kg). Abbreviated measurement units should only be used when preceded by numbers.

Formulas

- Mathematical equations must be written as editable text and not as images. Give the meaning of all symbols immediately after the equation in which they are first used.

- For simple fractions use the “/” symbol instead of the horizontal line; for example instead of.

- Equations explicitly referenced in the text should be numbered consecutively to the right, in parentheses.

- The level of statistical significance must be indicated with the lowercase letter “p” and without a space between the sign and the significance value. Example: p<0.05.

- The mathematical symbols must be very clear and legible: the sub-indices and supra-indices must be correctly located. In addition, the formulas must be numbered within the text.

EVALUATION PROCESS

In the first place, the evaluation process begins when the author and their article comply with the previous review based on the guidelines set forth in the (Authors Guide), in the same way all the articles received will be subject to a preliminary evaluation by the members of the Editorial Committee of the journal, who will initially determine the relevance of its publication. Manuscripts that do not comply with the guidelines will be sent the article so that the author can make the adjustments based on the corresponding guidelines, in a period of time not exceeding 15 days. Once it has been established that each article meets the thematic requirements, in addition to the formal requirements indicated in the instructions for authors, all articles that have passed the first filter,

In addition, the evaluator, if deemed necessary, may attach observations and recommendations in additional forms or sheets.

In case there is a positive and a negative evaluation, the article will be sent to a third peer to define its status.

Evaluation time

The time between the selection of the evaluators and the acceptance or delivery of the concept takes an average of six (6) months. However, this period may be shorter or longer, depending on the availability of the reviewers and other factors that may delay or speed up the process. The journal will only send the authors an official communication about their article, once it has a decision-making result from the evaluator.

When the evaluator issues a publishable concept with substantial modifications, the authors must make and send those corrections within eight (8) days. When the concept is publishable with slight modifications, the maximum time to make corrections and send it is four (4) days. All these times counted from the date of notice to the author.
