Abstract
Aware that the quality and relevance of the professional training are directly related to the competences of the instructors who accompany the development of the training processes of the apprentices, the National School of Instructors (ENI in Spanish) of the National Service of Learning, SENA, seeks to strengthen the training and qualification of the instructors to update and develop their technical and pedagogical competences, keys of employability and cross-cutting in terms of their professionalization. Thus, since 2015, the ENI has formalized the Pedagogical Accompaniment Program as a strategy to improve the quality of the training provided in the country. The first moment of the program consisted in the diagnosis of training needs in pedagogical competitions, for which about 17,000 instructors of the 117 training centers of the country were visited. This communication exposes the diagnosis process and the results obtained.References
