Abstract
The strengthening course in quantitative reasoning for articulation with the media is aimed at 9th grade students and the topics are: numerical sets, representation systems, statistical data, proportionality, algebraic equations, the theorems of Pythagoras and Thales. In the present work are presented didactic alternatives that are being used for the teaching of some of these topics in educational institutions in agreement with the Seine, in order to improve the skills possessed by potential future apprentices of the Technical Media of this institution
