Abstract

Hemp is a sativa-type plant that is frequently used in the medicinal branch for the treatment
of ailments and conditions thanks to the more than five hundred chemical components it
possesses, although it is especially used for its high content of cannabidiol (CBD) and its low
tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) content. The project intends to develop complementary alternatives
in edible products based on this plant, making use of the two components mentioned above,
supplying them in the quantities and percentages that, within the Colombian regulatory framework,
is fully permitted in order to counteract the adverse effects of the other. ; these products can be
used as a complement in common ailments with the purpose of improving the quality of life of
the people who suffer from them, being certain that they will not generate long-term side effects,
for this, research strategies were implemented that allowed collecting of information and apply
the sampling techniques exposed by William G. Cochran in his book named in the same way,
managing to establish the main social fears that prevent the exponential advance of the cannabis
industry and its different applications in the commercial field
