How to Cite
Abstract
This article analizes succinctly some topics about the future and present of higher education in Colombia. And the role played by the SENA in this process. It gives a first look at the social and historical value of education, and the challenge of higher education in the XXI century. It also emphasizes on the fundamental right of education and its guiding principles. Then, it talks about the importance of higher education and the research in the country’s development Finally, it shows some statistics regarding Higher Education behavior in Colombia, and its relationship with some work variables.
