Abstract

This is an article of technological research of a project in process, the information on the uses and characterization of the structures, materials and sustainable constructions used in the SENA Center of Technologies for Construction and Wood. The research contemplates the manufacture of a real-scale prototype of a structure that shows the essential qualities that a very basic and simple construction must contemplate for the sea used in a city, this construction must have features such as spaces that are pleasant, spacious, comfortable and safe. The research seeks to test the creation of a sustainable construction system that focuses primarily on people living in construction. As society progresses, this construction system must be an adaptable system that easily accepts new and better ways of building, that dictates the dynamics of the market.

Growth in a sustainable way and living in communion with nature implies ceasing to be indifferent to the current environmental problems and proposing alternatives to high energy consumption in construction.

The impact of current construction systems has not been correctly diagnosed; For this reason, it is important to determine the causes of this impact and also generate solutions from applied research such as the one that comes from the SENNOVA-CTCM field, where the academic community of the center seeks, mainly made up of apprentices from technical and technological careers. of Civil Constructions, Furniture design, Graphic development of architectural and engineering projects, Wood production processes and Guadua structures are integrated in the creation of knowledge and generate the necessary synergy to undertake social change, through the implementation of new and better construction techniques; making in turn a responsible use of the available materials. This is how it is necessary to develop a sense of environmental awareness in the apprentices, who through the practices and strategies implemented in this project will contribute to reducing the environmental impact, by being able to contemplate the use of ancestral and sustainable materials in their projects. constructive, becoming references for the application of sustainable construction techniques and technologies.
