Automation: Management Information Systems for industrial production

Abstract

In the present article, a special emphasis is put on the proposal of Management Information Systems Automation as a Competitive Intelligence tool for organizations. It is important to incorporate concepts, models, systems and technological trends leading to the creation of a new paradigm useful for those companies based upon knowledge economy. This moves organizations to give a solution to "complex problems" through technological management of automated systems.
