Design of a Comprehensive Conservation Program - CP&R

Abstract

The integral conservation program (CP&R), is a tool to help companies in the country. It promotes the good optimal conditions in which the preservation of a document must be developed, in order to generate an awareness of the protection of information, in the multiple stages that have archival processes.
The methodology for this design is based on a qualitative procedure, with field experimentation, for the understanding of social phenomena at the experiential level of the subjects that are part of the sample. The participants are apprentices of the administrative management centre (CGA), belonging to the coordination of documentary management and information sciences, taking into account focus groups and measuring instruments. Throughout the document’s life cycle, it is important to create different ways of valuing the information and thus preventing it from deteriorating over time, reason why a program is designed that values the aforementioned aspects and thus contribute to the improvement of procedures in the organizations.
