Administrative, accounting and financial status of the stores of commune 5 of the city of Ibagué

Abstract

This research article is developed within the framework of the research project entitled “Design of a basic model of administrative and financial management for the stores classified as commercial microenterprises of the com­mune 5 of the city of Ibagué” of the business management, and Commercial Innovation - GESICOM of the Center of Commerce and Services - Regional Tolima. In this context, the study covers classifies stores as micro enterprises for trade in the Municipality, for the purpose of designing an administrative and financial model for this economic sector to be strengthened and potentialized in order to achieve greater business development in the country. In the Ibaguereñas stores, there are several possibilities to improve, in relation to the administrative and financial aspects which are controlled by the microentrepreneur, as well as the inadequate management of cash flow, which means that the information provided is translated into poor decision making by the microentrepreneur. This project seeks to impact the administrative, financial, marketing, customer service, document management and the different processes of each store to create economic stability in their work environment. An administrative and financial framework is a fundamental tool for any company, since it helps to know the financial situation of any economic entity. Equally the proper management of cash flow allows the information provided to result in good decision making, referring to the investment and the financing of the organization in question.
