Abstract
The city of Bogotá (2018) has a heritage of 1.269.673 arboreal and shrubby individuals located in public space, managed through the Information System for the Management of Urban Trees for Bogotá, D.C. (SIGAU). The present article aims to document the progress made in the implementation of UAS for Urban Forest Management, in the city of Bogotá. As a result, the main advances in terms of labor competency standard, regulations, UAS operation, the measurement error associated with photogrammetric software, error in the measurement of tree heights with UAS vs traditional methodologies, generation of 3D models for arboreal individuals with UAS and their implementation in architectural projects through the Web portal.
